Terms of use

Who may use the platform

• You must meet the minimum age of digital consent in your country and hold only one account.
• Rate only institutions you have attended and educators or courses you have actually been taught by.
• Never enter a student number, grade, transcript detail or any other school-record information anywhere on the platform.
• We may suspend or remove an account that breaches these terms, with or without prior notice where the breach is serious.

Acceptable use

The following are not permitted:

• Statements you know to be untrue, invented incidents, or rumour repeated as fact.
• Slurs or attacks based on ethnicity, tribe, nationality, religion, gender, disability, sexuality or appearance.
• Threats, intimidation, doxxing, or naming students, family members or third parties.
• Coordinated rating campaigns, vote manipulation, multiple accounts, automated posting or scraping.
• Advertising, recruitment offers, exam-cheating services or any commercial spam.
• Impersonating an educator, an institution, a staff member or EduVistaScore itself.

Content you post

You keep ownership of what you write. By posting, you grant EduVistaScore a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, translate, reformat and include your post in aggregate scores and statistics, for as long as it remains published. Deleting a post ends that licence for the post itself, though anonymous aggregate figures already computed may persist. You confirm the words are your own and that you are entitled to post them.

Reporting, removal and right of reply

• Anyone can flag a post that appears to breach these terms; we review flagged posts.
• An educator or institution may contest a post and ask for it to be reviewed, and verified representatives may publish a reply.
• We remove content that is unlawful, harassing, identifying, fabricated or outside the scope of the platform, and we may act before a dispute is resolved where harm is likely.
• Removal decisions are about the rules, not about how flattering a rating happens to be — a low but fair rating stays up.

Availability and liability

The platform is provided as it is, without warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or complete. Ratings are personal opinions of the people who wrote them and are not verified assessments of competence or quality — do not treat them as the sole basis for an academic, employment or admissions decision. To the fullest extent the law allows, EduVistaScore is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the platform or reliance on content posted by users. Nothing here limits rights you cannot waive under the law of your country. We may update these terms, and material changes will be announced on the platform.
